The core training activity is the Tourism officer training course, which leads to a diploma certified by New Caledonia in 2008, following fine-tuning and testing work done in 2007 and 2008. This training focuses each year on operators in a North Province geographic target area, a tourist activity centre.

A training course for horse-riding guides under the control of the New Caledonian Direction de la jeunesse et des sports (Department of Youth and Sport) (DJSNC).

The hiking guide would have a dual role: showing the country to visitors on foot and also being a real environmental intermediary in his or her area in order to carry out preservation and maintenance tasks on behalf of institutions, private agencies or NGOs.
